Hello, my name is Jeri Venegas.
I’m a freelance illustrator, pet painter, and graphic designer. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, currently based in Austin. I earned my BFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2020.
My passion for animals, curiosity, fantasy, and humor drive my work. I love to use intense colors, strong compositions, and magic to create my own lively characters and enchanting atmospheres. In a world bombared by AI, tech, and digital, I love to use traditional acrylic painting methods for my illustration and portraits.
Outside of the studio, I like to see live music, hang out with my cats, and explore my city’s museums and parks!
I would love to work with you on projects big or small in publication, gaming, editorial, music and more.
